Environmental and Regulatory Services

The MPH Environmental and Regulatory Group (MERG) is focused on providing our clients with the knowledge and personnel necessary to achieve their project goals. MERG specializes in the acquisition of federal, state, and local permits required for projects in environmentally sensitive areas. MERG has the in-house experience and capability to act as a liaison between stakeholders and regulatory agencies and will provide permitting solutions and ensure regulatory compliance. Because MPH's integrated structure, MERG has ready access to additional professionals including engineers, surveyors, hydrographers, and GIS analysts.

MERG is diverse, comprised of regulatory affairs managers, environmental professionals, wetland ecologists, stormwater managers, wildlife biologists, and cultural resource managers. MERG interdisciplinary experiences allow the group to consider science and policy, and provide solutions to clients that are project schedule conscious. The MERG staff is experienced in oil and gas projects and has current OSHA safety training and TWIC cards.
