Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Jonathan Morris, P.E., P.L.S., currently serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Morris P. Hebert, Inc. (MPH) with over 15 years of experience in land, hydrographic, and Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) surveying.
Jonathan began his career at MPH in 2010 and quickly advanced from field surveyor to Hydrographic Survey Manager, overseeing projects across the Gulf Coast. He has led hundreds of successful initiatives ranging from marsh creation and barrier island restoration to pipeline, levee, and infrastructure development. He also spearheaded the establishment of MPH’s UAS division, expanding the company’s remote sensing capabilities into UAV, LiDAR, photogrammetry, laser scanning, SUE, and GIS.
Promoted to Vice President of Remote Sensing and now COO, Jonathan has played a key role in driving MPH’s growth, technology adoption, and operational excellence. In addition to overseeing remote sensing, he has contributed to the leadership of the Survey & Mapping, Engineering, IT, and Business Development departments.
As COO, Jonathan is responsible for the overall management of MPH operations. He works closely with department managers to ensure client expectations are exceeded while positioning MPH at the forefront of technological innovation and client-focused solutions.
